Landscape Design can range from a full service, all-inclusive design (including Inventory & Analysis, Programming, Concepts, Master Plan, Materials Plan, Planting Plan, Irrigation Plan, Lighting Plan, and Grading & Drainage) to a more detailed and inclusive planting plan. It may also consist of a design consultation.
I am a boutique shop with low overhead — so I can afford to spend more time with you, developing a design that fits your lifestyle, needs, and budget. Contact me and we can discuss what's right for you.
Depending on your needs, you may select one of the following installation plans.
Full Service Installation: I will manage your project and oversee every detail from beginning to end. This includes obtaining bids, selecting contractors, and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.
Modified Service Installation: I will develop an action plan and then work alongside you to install the design.
Limited Service Installation: I will develop an action plan for you to install the design yourself.
I provide consultation and educational services for all aspects of landscape design, installation, and maintenance. Cultural practices are my specialty — what you, the homeowner, might do differently or what changes could be made to create a healthier growing environment.
I also offer consultation services as a Garden Coach. A Garden Coach would come to your home to discuss any issues or questions you may have. The Coach would not be doing the work, but rather advising you on how to accomplish your goals or address any issues. It may be a one-time visit or an ongoing relationship.
The following are some of my areas of focus:
Appropriate cultural practices
Balanced ecosystems
Benefits of organic mulches
Benefits of trees
Planting trees or shrubs
Reducing maintenance
General maintenance
Insects and diseases
Plant selection and placement
Plant identification
